Christmas Update
Well, either Boston is a small town or word of my book is spreading, or both. But someone stopped me downtown today and asked if I was “the guy who wrote the book about Dorchester.” I was sure he was wrong, until he described the cover. Someone at work had given him a copy but he hadn’t started reading it. I was hoping to hear that he “bought” a copy, but either way I am happy to know the novel is in circulation. I’ve had other people in my neighborhood mention they bought the book after reading about it in the Bulletin, or Dorchester Reporter, or Transcript. I am also grateful to the Boston Readers Book group (http://sites.google.com/site/bostonreaders/) who have chosen my novel for their next read. I really appreciate the support! Not much else new to report, except that I have put a Book Trailer on my website which I think captures the tone and times of the story. Until next time, JC.
